Hew Hampshire Wedding Photography, Waterville Valley
Aimee and Jeff had a very dramatic day for their wedding at Waterville Valley, NH. There was a chance of rain but I don’t think anyone had any idea of what was headed our way! The whole valley is perfect for photography with so many great options. Both Aimee and Jeff got ready in the Golden Eagle Inn and they held their ceremony at the Conference Center Gazebo. Their cocktail hour was in the resort’s Speakeasy cafe and they had a fabulous (though slightly damp!) reception the the resort’s tent. Waterville is a great mini destination choice for a wedding. It just has so much to offer!
After getting ready, Aimee and Jeff opted for a first look. They chose to do this in a nearby stand of birch trees. The couple’s first look was both beautiful and very moving! We also visited the Inn and Town Square areas for some photos.
A beautiful ceremony was enjoyed at the gazebo following a quick rain shower. The ceremony was perfectly timed. Not long after, the real rain and wind came. Another wedding venue nearby lost their wedding tent during this storm. It was pretty wild! The conditions didn’t dampen the spirit of the occasion at all though and moving everyone from the Speakeasy to the tent was very entertaining to watch! Everyone had a great time and the huge tent was filled with love, emotion, and dancing well into the night.
Below are some highlights from the day. Enjoy! Thanks, Aimee and Jeff, for including us as a part of your big day!
