Portrait Photography in New Hampshire
We do a lot of portrait photography all over the State of New Hampshire. We do it for all kinds of clients, for all kinds of reasons. Lots of families, seniors, babies, newborns, and more. One portrait photography session we did this week was exceptionally fun and was exceptional for its diversity.
Kristina is well known in the running world as a very successful long distance runner. She excels at races of 100 miles in length on trails and through the mountains. Last week she just set a new women’s record for the Presidential Traverse in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She ran the traverse in 5 hours and 32 minutes, shattering the old record by almost two hours!
Kristina wanted us to capture her running in some of the dramatic landscapes we have here in the White Mountains, She needed some new images for several of her running sponsors such as La Sportiva, Choucas Hats, Julbo, and Ultraspire. At the same time, she came up with the super fun idea of capturing some images of her as a fairy princess in the woods. For this, we brought Rodyan on board for wardrobe, hair and make-up, and all our styling for this part of the session.
We caught Kristina running at sunrise, in the water, on Mount Washington, and all over the place before we finished with a few images of her as a fairy princess. The transformation from elite long distance runner to fairy princess was amazing! Rodyan really did a great job.
Below are some highlights. Enjoy!
