Waterville Valley, NH Wedding Photography
Stacey and Al were recently married on a perfect summer day at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire. Both the bride and groom got ready in The Snowy Owl Inn, a beautiful inn along the brook right next to the town square. The inn is a photography gold mine with fabulous locations both inside and out. Stacy gets the “Bold Bride” award for a quick trip out to the brook for some photos before the ceremony, not the most certain way to keep a gown clean. But, with great team work from her entire team of bridesmaids, not a single spot got on the dress, and what photos!
Stacey and Al chose The Osceola Arbor as their ceremony site. This location is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and on this day the weather was a perfect summer day, not too hot or cold, no humidity, perfect. The arbor is on the shore of Corcoran’s Pond with a terrific view of Mt. Osceola in the distance. It’s the perfect New Hampshire backdrop.
After a whirlwind tour of the area’s best spots for wedding day photos on the Waterville Trolley it was off to the cocktail hour and reception in the Speakeasy and Main Dining Room. The couple’s first dance was no ordinary first dance, to say the least! Al and Stacey have been ballroom dancing together since college and it showed. What a dance! They were spinning and twirling all over effortlessly and it really was a pleasure to watch. It was desperate to photograph!
The entire day was fun and filled with love and emotion. When Stacey and her Dad saw each other for the first time, well let’s just say there were more than a few people with joyful tears on their faces. The whole occasion was a joy to record and so much fun to be a part of. Thanks, Stacey and Al for including us!
Below are a few highlights. Enjoy!
