Whitney’s Inn Wedding Photography
Katelyn and Daniel were recently married in Jackson, New Hampshire. They opted for an outside wedding at Whitney’s Inn in March and with some help from the weather they pulled it off beautifully. It was a lovely early spring day and everything came together beautifully. Whitney’s Inn and The Shovel Handle Pub (where the couple’s reception was held) are wonderful locations for a wedding and for photography. In fact, the whole Jackson area is a special place for these things.
Both Katelyn and Dan get ready at the inn. Vicki and I were fortunate to get some amazing getting ready images with Katelyn before the couple’s first look in Katelyn’s room. A first look before the wedding ceremony has so many advantages to a couple on their wedding day; more photos, more, time for photos, more time with friends and family, the ability to attend the entire cocktail hour because all photos are already completed, and the opportunity for some very special alone time together during the actual first look. The first look can often be a very moving moment and Katelyn and Dan’s was no exception After this incredible moment we went on a short tour of the Jackson area for some beautiful photos.
The couple’s ceremony was beautiful, under bright blue skies and not too cold, much better than the snowy day that was forecast. Katelyn looked radiant in her amazing “princess” wedding gown which was so much fun to photograph all day! The ceremony was followed by a very fun cocktail hour and reception in the wonderful locations of the inn and pub. If you like the rustic wooden barn look for your wedding, The Shovel Handle Pub has to be considered as one of the best places to consider. It’s simply wonderful and Don and everyone there always do a fantastic job.
Below are some highlights from the day. Enjoy!
